Rothco Going Green

Rothco's headquarters are going green, and no, we're not talking about just wearing a lot of camo. "Going Green" is the practice of creating structures and using processes that are environmentally responsible and resource-efficient throughout a building's life-cycle. As part of Rothco's initiative to go green, we have begun replacing all of the light bulbs in our entire 250,000 square foot warehouse and office with energy efficient lighting fixtures.

Our initiative doesn't stop there; this year Rothco will start to add solar panels to the roof of our expanded warehouse, and in 2018 we'll be adding panels to our main warehouse. By the time the project is complete, Rothco will be the single largest collector of solar energy on Long Island, NY! Aside from these new projects, Rothco also has several "green" practices including a recycling program in our office and in 2015 we instituted a paperless billing system for our dealers.
